How Many Professionals Work With Each Family?

After you’ve had your baby, you are most likely feeling all sorts of emotions. Elation, anxiety, exhaustion and so much love. You probably feel excited to have a Newborn Care Professional come into your home to help you de-stress and get some sleep. What you may not be excited about is having lots of people that you don’t know come into your home. I know I felt the same way after my babies were born. I just needed help, I didn’t want to navigate the niceties of meeting new people when half the house was using diapers.

At Kansas City Newborn Care, it’s extremely important to us that you are receiving continuous care from friendly faces. All of our care professionals are trained at the most elite level and when you see the purple scrubs, we want you to know you are in good hands. We also work as a team in and out of our clients homes. We run different scenarios by each other and if your professional doesn’t know the answer to something, you can bet that they will find it by your next visit. Teamwork truly makes the dream work in this type of situation but that doesn’t mean a new professional will be at your door every day. We will work dilligently to see to it that your care is continuous and helpful.

When your KCNC Professional first comes to your home, you or someone in your home will walk them through the ins and outs of how your home runs. Often times, we will then report back to the other KCNC professionals assigned to your contract with information about your home so that they are as prepared as possible walking into their first day or night with your family. Our hope is that lines of communication are open to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

We work hard to assign a maximum of three KCNC professionals to each contract. We work harder to try to get that number down to 1 or 2. A lot of our availability depends on how early you are able to hire us during your pregnancy and postpartum experience. The more notice we have, the easier it is for us to plan for your needs. As always, please reach out with any questions and we can’t wait to serve your family!
